Hi all!
The comments/questions I get most often on my ask.fm are..........
"HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT AND STAY THAT WAY?"
Honestly believe me or not, I've always had issues with my weight since when I'm young.
I used to be fat as a child and everyone at home calls me "Ah Pui".
Though I am considered petite and born with a smaller bone frame, I was the chubbier kid compared to the rest still, probably due to my low metabolism rate and snacking habits :P
The girl in the circle - yes its me heh heh
I was called many names as a kid; slowpoke, fat girl, fat fat, piggy agnes, blah blah.
Until I told myself that I want this all to stop, and I really want it all to change and to be different once I got into secondary school.
I entered my secondary school in 2004, and I started playing more sports.
Soon before I knew, (I was 1.56m) my weight dropped from 56kg to a whopping 47kg.
Why?
Because there was a time I only had one slice of bread a day with loads and loads of water.
But this is crazy.
I regretted so so much because I know this affected my metabolism greatly as I am eating lesser than what my body needs for function and maintenance.
(So bottom line, don't do that. It is only periodical. Your weight will come back because you will crave for food and there is a probability that you might start to binge.)
So throughout secondary school, I had my slimmer/fat moments.
You know puberty.
Especially for a girl.
(Or are all these excuses hehe)
But I snacked a lot la.
My weight was like in the range of 47-50kg.
Photos of my campus days.
Wa -.-
Yeap I'm the one in blue zzzz
The one third from the left zzzzz
And then on to poly days, I was excessively exercising that it made my period stop.
Also I was on such an obsessive behavior with losing weight I stopped eating normally.
I counted calories for every bit/scoop of food I ate, stayed clear of food from outside, never snacked till I hated food.
It was pretty scary thinking back.
I was maybe anorexic, to the point my period stopped.
Then I went to see doctors to fix this problem and they gave me Diane35(contraceptive pills) to make my period come back.
THIS WAS THE WORST PERIOD OF MY LIFE I SWEAR.
My weight increased as my appetite grew due to the effects of the pills, I ballooned from 47kg to 52kg.
I was so freaking upset.
From constantly blogging and being a model of my blogshop, I stopped doing it all because I didnt like to take photos, I didnt want anyone to see how ugly I was, and I dont want anyone to know how this affected me.
I went on a hiatus on my blog for a period of time and closed down my blogshop (formally known as LKYA).
Pretty upsetting time of my life.
Oh and my skin during that time was so terrible too.
Probably because of the deficiency in nutrients in my diet.
So after sometime when my period was regulated, I stopped the pills.
My weight dropped from 52kg to 46kg.
All those weight lost within a month due to stoppage of the pill, losing of all the water weight and also a more controlled diet compared to when I was on the pills (hate them!!).
I then decided the worst part of my life was over - need to stop and do something serious about this all.
I was in love shortly after this period (with the current hubby), and I started to take better care of myself.
I ate as normal but I know to control my weight I need to exercise.
So eat, but exercise.
No sorry, I mean eat well and exercise right.
(After stopping Diane35)
I think 2014 is the best year for me.
My weight was rather constant, no fluctuations and everything seem pretty good for me (:
Perhaps my body has already been "conditioned", and I'm glad that I'm determined enough to help myself feel and look better! :D
